GOD SHOWING HIMSELF STRONG IN OUR LIVES

 

Day 1 Exodus 6:1 Reference: Exodus 7:4
Then the Lord said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a
strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his
land.
Only with divine help will the Pharaohs in our lives be driven out. Lord we need your strong
hand.

 

Day 2 Psalm 18:17 Reference: Psalm 31:8
He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were
too strong for me.
God will not only deliver his people out of their troubles in due time, but he will bear them up
under their troubles in the mean time.

 

Day 3 1 Peter 5:10 Reference: James 4:7
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after
that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
God will strengthen and honor in heaven those who endure suffering for their faith while on
earth.

 

Day 4 Luke 22:42-43 Reference: Matthew 26:42
  Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but
thine, be done.   And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
As Jesus addressed God, the Father, he struggled with going to the cross; nevertheless
He resolved His struggle in favor of doing God’s will, which was always His focus. Whenever
you have struggles in life, will you resolve in favor of doing God’s will?

 

Day 5 1 Corinthians 15:54-57 Reference: Luke 23:43
 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on
immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed
up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.   But thanks be to God, which
giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus our Lord defeated death. We as believers are with the Lord immediately after death.

 

Day 6 Ephesians 3:16-17 Reference: 1 Corinthians 16:13
  That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with
might by his Spirit in the inner man;   That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that
ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Paul prayed for believers (you and I) . He prayed for the inner power of God to dwell in our
hearts. He asked for us to be strengthened, rooted and filled by the works of the Trinity: God the
Father, Spirit and Christ.

 

Day 7 1 John 5:4-5 Reference: 1 John 2:29
  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that
overcometh the world, even our faith.   Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that
believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
We are born of God when we are transformed and made new through our faith and belief that
Jesus is the Son of God.

 

 

Day 8 Acts 20:32 Reference: Acts 9:31
And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able
to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
God’s grace and Word is able to build us up and to give us an inheritance with other believers.

 

Day 9 Psalm 19:1 Reference Genesis 1:6
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Let us give God the glory of all the comfort and benefit we have by the lights of heaven, still
looking above and beyond them to the Son of righteousness.

 

Day 10 Joel 2:28 Reference: Acts 2:17
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your
sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young
men shall see visions:
This promise is not restricted to the first Pentecost and appears from Peter’s own words. The
promise is (not only) unto you and to your children, (but also) to all that are afar off (both in
space and in time), even as many as the Lord our God shall call” (Act 2:3).

 

Day 11 2 Corinthians 3:18 Reference: 2 Corinthians 4:4
  But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed
into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
There is no veil over our hearts, and therefore none over the eyes with which we exercise our
faculty of spiritual vision. We are then transformed spiritually as we walk daily with the Lord
Jesus Christ. Lord, please open my mind to think clearly, my eyes to spiritual vision and my
heart to love freely.

 

 

Day 12 Genesis 9:11 Reference: Isaiah 54:9
And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by
the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
God has placed a rainbow in the sky to often remind us of His promise to not flood the earth, His
promises to us are true, so look to Him even when you don’t understand for He is a faithful God.

 

Day 13 Exodus 3:14 Reference Exodus 6:3
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the
children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
Put all of your trust in God, He is our creator and He knows all things and there is none above
Him! He is our solid rock.

 

Day 14 Proverbs 30:5 Reference Psalm 12:6
Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
When we put our trust in God, He will protect us and give us peace in the time of war, He will be
a shelter in the time of our storms. He loves us with an everlasting love and will never leave or
forsake us.

 

Day 15 Jeremiah 31:31 Reference Jeremiah 32:40
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house
of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
God’s grace is sufficient for each and every one of us. Because of His new covenant, we can go
to God in prayer, we can make all our request to Him and He is a God that will answer and will
not shy away from us. We have access to Him through His son Jesus, whom we are to call on
in the time of need as well as to praise and to give thanks.

 

 

Day 17 James 5:16 Reference: Job 42:8
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Let us pray for each other daily. Our prayers can and will be effective for both physical and
spiritual healing. When a righteous person offer prayer fervently, God will respond in a way that
best fits His good purpose

 

Day 18 1 Timothy 6:12 Reference: Colossians 3:15
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and
hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
I will fight the good fight of faith as I hold on to eternal life I was called to. I have made
confession in the presence of many witnesses.

 

Day 19 Ephesians 3:7 Reference: Romans 12:3
  Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me
by the effectual working of his power.
Paul became a minister of the gospel according to God’s grace and active working power.
Today God’s active working power is available to every believer.

 

Day 20 1 Thessalonians 2:13 Reference: Romans 1:8
For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word
of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth,
the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
When we hear and receive the word of God and acknowledge it as truth, it will operate and
show forth in those who believe.

 

Day 21 Revelation 12:11. Reference: 1 John 2:13
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;
and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Satan accuses us day and night, but we believers have assurance that we have been covered
and cleansed by the blood of Jesus. You and I have victory over the enemy even if we are
martyred for our faith in Jesus Christ

 

 

For WISDOM in all things and for us to continue to draw closer to God and be committed to PRAYER, RESTORATION and FEARLESSNESS.

 

For The R.O.C. CHURCH and R.O.C.C. ATLANTA to continue to fulfill the VISION & MISSION and for God to continually RAISE UP a STRONG BODY of BELIEVERS to do so and reach the lost for Christ.

 

For CONTINUED GROWTH of membership spiritually, physically, and financially.

 

For GOD’S FAVOR and SUPERNATURAL PRESENCE to be upon us and LEAD US IN EVERY WAY and do exceedingly and abundantly above what we can ask or think.

 

For ALL INFIRMITIES to be CANCELLED and for the PLANS of the enemy to be CANCELLED.

 

For a HEALTHY CHURCH SPIRITUALLY, PHYSICALLY, and FINANCIALLY that prays and intercedes for one another.

 

For those who are WALKING in OBEDIENCE to be BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE.

 

For those who aren’t being obedient spiritually, physically, financially 

to REPENT and SEEK GOD and BE OBEDIENT in those areas.

1. Meditate on the majesty, holiness, and love of God.Allow Scripture and the Holy Spirit to guide you into a direct encounter with the living God. Ask God to reveal his nearness, holiness and love to you in a fresh way.

“In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called to another and said:

‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!’

And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke. And I said: ‘Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!’

Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth and said: ‘Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.’” Isaiah 6:1-7

2. Spend time giving him thanks for who he is. Worship him through thanksgiving.

“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” Psalm 107:1

“Through [Jesus] then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.” Hebrews 13:15

“It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night, to the music of the lute and the harp, to the melody of the lyre. For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy. How great are your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep!” Psalm 92:1-5

3. Now offer God your total devotion in response to who he is.Commit to following his leadership and living your life in total obedience to him through the help of the Holy Spirit.

“Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.” Philippians 3:8

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” Deuteronomy 6:5

Go

May your life be an example of a believer in love with God. May you offer God all the love, obedience, and devotion you can. All God desires is your heart. He longs to have all of you. He is completely relationship focused and completely lovesick for you. 2 Chronicles 16:9 says, “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” God will help you live your life in commitment to him if you allow him to. Receive the strength of the Lord and respond to his love with your devotion today.

 

WEEK 2

God is Good

“I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!”PSALM 27:13

In this week’s devotional, we’re going to dive deeper into the reality of God’s goodness. At every turn, just when I wonder how good God really is, he always has a plan to show me how truly loving and good he is. So as we begin, where are you questioning God’s goodness today? When things go wrong, when we get hurt, it’s only natural to start questioning and building walls. But rather than going our own way, let’s come before God with confidence, asking our questions and inviting him to meet us in a meaningful way today.

God is good. What emotion does that fact stir in you? I know for some this phrase stirs up unspeakable joy, while others of us seem to be immune to its emotion in our lives. I believe the issue for many of us is that the phrase “God is good” is so frequently said and so infrequently experienced. For many of us we are just told that God is good from a young age, but we are seldom given the chance to experience that goodness. Goodness is something meant to be experienced and then believed, not the other way around.

David said that he would look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. He had already seen God’s goodness in his life and believed that he would see it again. He knew for a fact that God was good and therefore he sought to experience that goodness. It’s that same heart that the Sons of Korah had in the famous Psalm 84, singing, “How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts! My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God . . . For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness” (Psalm 84:1-2,10). That sounds like the worship of a good God, a goodness that had been experienced.

When was the last time you experienced the goodness of God? Psalm 33:5 says, “The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.” God’s goodness is here, just waiting to be experienced. James 1:17 says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” God is always good, and every good and perfect gift you’ve received is from him! He demonstrates his goodness to us in innumerable ways, all the time. How is it then that we don’t recognize it? How is it that we can be surrounded by God’s goodness and not experience it?

God has proven in Scripture that he works in our midst demonstrating his goodness, but we have to take time to listen and respond to these demonstrations. In Psalm 27 God says to David, “Seek my face,” and David responds, “My heart says to you, your face, Lord, do I seek.” When God says “seek” he uses a Hebrew word that is meant for more than one person. God calls all of us, his people, to “seek my face.” Then in response we are to say, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.”

Take time today to respond to God’s invitation of goodness. Seek to look upon his face and to experience his goodness. He has laid a banquet table before you and is simply asking you to come and dine with him.

 

Prayer

1. Take time to quiet yourself and receive God’s presence.Meditate on this verse:

“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalm 16:11

2. Respond to his goodness by telling the Lord:

“My heart says to you, Your face, Lord, do I seek.” Psalm 27:8

3. Make David’s prayer yours today:

“One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.” Psalm 27:4

 

 Go

Take time to make that prayer your own throughout your day today. Memorize it. Write it on your heart so that you can experience the goodness of God throughout your day. It only takes a minute to receive his presence and have the joy and peace that can only be found in Christ Jesus.

 

WEEK 3

Devoted to God’s Love

“We love because he first loved us.”1 JOHN 4:19

In this week’s devotional we’re going to create space to talk about and receive God’s great gift of love. You and I were made to be loved by God. And until we make room to receive the unselfish, steadfast, tangible love of God, we’ll spend the rest of our lives striving, vying for affection from others. May striving cease today as we receive the lavish affection of our good and loving God.

You need to experience the love of God. The single most important part of your day is receiving the love of your heavenly Father. Without being loved by God, you can’t fully love him or others. And the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13:1, “If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.” You’re called to live your life in response to God’s love, because God asks that everything you do be done in love. If what you are doing isn’t done in love, it is not pleasing to him, and you can’t live a lifestyle of loving others without being loved by him first.

What’s more, God’s desire is to completely overwhelm you with his love right now. He doesn’t want to love you just so you’ll love him back or love those around you. Loving God and others is a natural by-product of receiving God’s love. He loves you just because he loves you.

He longs for you to live a lifestyle of love because he knows that’s the absolute, most fulfilling, purposeful, and peaceful way of life for you. He longs to set you free from the burdens of living for your own gain. He longs to lead you to the path of abundant life. But it all starts with simply receiving his love.

The love of God will guide you, establish you, empower you, and fully delight you. His love will free you, compel you, and sustain you. His love for you is eternal, real, and right now. All you need to do is simply open your heart to him and set aside a little time right now to receive his amazing gift of love.

God desires to be experienced. He is living and active, but so few experience the life and love he wants to bring. Today, after receiving his love, take some time to reflect on how differently you feel and act afterwards. See if you feel a stirring of desire for God and those around you. You see, God intends for us to have his love for those around us. In loving God you receive his love for others. You care about the things the people you love care about. It is the same with God. But it all starts with simply being loved by him. There’s no better time than right now, wherever you are, to receive the love of your heavenly Father.

Prayer

1. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you encounter the love of God.Receive the peace, love, and comfort of God. Let all your cares go and take some time to just rest in his presence.

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39

“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

2. Ask God to give you revelation on his heart for you and those around you.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

“In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.” 1 John 4:9-12

3. Ask the Spirit to help you love the people you encounter today with God’s heart for them.

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” John 13:34

Go

Know that wherever you go, God is there. You can receive his love at any time. Whenever someone harms you today, whenever you get frustrated or stressed, take a few minutes to simply be loved by your heavenly Father. May his love be the foundation for yours in all that you do today.

 

WEEK 4

God Desires to Be Encountered

You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” JEREMIAH 29:13

In this week’s devotional, we’re going to respond to God’s open invitation to seek his face. God desires to meet with you just as you are. So great was his desire for real, restored relationship with you, that he would send his only Son. May the weights and cares of the world fall off of your shoulders today as you set out to seek the heart of your good and loving Father.

There is a misconception in Christianity that we cannot tangibly encounter our heavenly Father. Often we’re taught that we are too broken, dirty, or sinful to experience God. We’re told that experiencing God is only for some people, or only for some nations and cultures. Or maybe as a result of a lack of experiencing God in the past we believe that we are made without something that allows us to encounter God. Maybe we believe that encountering God is for other people, but not for us. Nothing could be further from the truth.

We encounter God because he desires to be encountered, not because we possess some special ability. We encounter God because he longs for us to know him, not because we are more holy than someone else. You see, encountering God is entirely based on his grace and love for us.

In Jeremiah 29:13 God promises us, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” All that is required of us to experience God is time and energy set aside to seek him. Let that truth settle into your heart for a moment. Allow your beliefs about encountering God to be renewed by his word. You can undoubtedly experience the living, active, and most high God right now because he desires for you to. He longs for you to experience him. His greatest desire is for his children to walk in the fullness of relationship available to them. He gets excited about the idea of tangibly revealing himself to you. He is filled with joy at the idea that you would experience all the love he has in his heart for you.

Romans 8:38-39 says, “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Jesus did what no one else could. He made a way for us to tangibly experience our heavenly Father. Nothing can separate us from the love of our heavenly Father because Jesus has restored us completely into the fold of God. The curtain of the holy of holies was torn in two. The manifest presence of God was released by the sacrifice of Jesus for all the children of God to experience.

What do you feel is in the way of you experiencing your heavenly Father today? What past experience or present thoughts are keeping you from seeking God with all your heart? May Hebrews 10:19-22 guide you into a powerful encounter with your loving heavenly Father who desires for you to experience him today:

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Prayer

1. Meditate on God’s desire for you to encounter him.

“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

“And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us.” Acts 17:26-27

2. Reflect on your own life.What do you believe stands between you and experiencing your heavenly Father? What sin do you believe has separated you from him? What belief has kept you from seeking God? What lie have you believed?
3. Allow Scripture to stir your confidence to seek the face of God.Believe Scripture over past experiences or beliefs. God desires you to seek him!

The enemy’s greatest desire for those of us already saved is to keep us from walking in the fullness of what God intends for his children. Satan can’t keep us from eternal life with God, but he can keep us from experiencing the abundant life available to us here. He knows God’s greatest desire is for relationship with us, so he will stop at nothing to keep God from having his desires satisfied. May your life be one marked by the fullness of what’s available to you in Christ. May you be a child of God who consistently and fully experiences the love of your heavenly Father.

I decree a thousand, ten thousand, a thousand times thousands, in every area of your life, in the name of Jesus

Let the thousands of demons be driven out of my city and out of my ministry in the name of Jesus

I believe the Lord and I bring fourth thousands and ten thousands,

 

The lord deliver me from everything that will hold me back from the thousands of blessings in my life

I believe for deliverance from the people who are blocking thousands from coming into my life remove them in the name of Jesus

 

I believe the Lord, one shall chase a thousand, two shall put 10 thousand to flight, a thousand shall fall by my side and ten thousand at my right hand, but no evil none of it shall come unto me

thank you lord for blessings and increase in the realm of the thousands

 

I believe all poverty and lack to be driven out of my life and for heaps, and heaps, and heaps come into my life by the thousands in name of Jesus

 

You are my daddy God, and all the cattle on a thousand hill belong to you

 

I receive the blessing of my Father God in my life in the name of Jesus

 

Let a thousand of Psalms be released in my generation

 

Let thousands of prophets and prophetic words be released in my generation.

 

Let thousands of healing, miracles, salvation, deliverance be released in my generation in the name of Jesus,

 

I decree that my faith is rising to another level

Lord let my giving, my sowing, and my reaping increase by the thousands

 

Unlimited blessings that are being released over your life

 

Psalm 65:11 – You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drop fatness. (Let me nets break in this year)

 

Luke 5:4 a record breaking year, a bump year, a year of extraordinary, a year of double, a year of restoration, a year of revival, a year of glory, a year of double anointing, a year of double shalom, a year of increase.

 

I enjoy increase and multiplication, I have a revelation of the treasure of God

 

God’s treasure is open to me

I have access by faith to the treasure of God

the Lord has opened up His good treasure to me,

 

I will get treasure of the Lord

 

I will give in to the Lord’s treasure and He opens His treasure to me

 

the winds of favor are released from God’s treasure over my life

 

I have access to this treasure of wisdom

Wisdom fills my treasure

 

I have access to the treasure of the word of God

For I am blessed with the treasures in the deep

I am blessed with the treasures of the rain

God releases His abundant treasure to me

God has good things in store in treasure for me

God has wonderful things stored in His treasure for me

 

There are no limits in God’s treasury

God’s treasury is immeasurable

 

God supplies my needs according to His riches in glory

 

The windows of heaven are open over my life

And I receive the treasures right now in the name of Jesus

 

For the spirit of God rests upon Saul and when he heard these words he became angry, but the spirit of God prospered Saul when he heard those tidings and his anger kindled

 

Lord I receive the blessing of over my lie

 

1 John 1:16 – grace upon grace and out of His fullness in a place of grace already giving

Get ready for the influx and over flow and the doors that were closed to be opened in your life and unimaginable blessing is about to hit your life

 

1 Thessalonians 5:20 – do not despise prophesying

Declare that No one has dominion over my faith I stand by faith. God rewards my faith

2 Corinthians 4:13 i have the spirt of faith 8:7 i abound in faith

 

Gal 2:20 i live by faith of the son of God

 

Colossians 1:23 I am grounded and settled in my faith, 2:7 i am established in faith

 

1 Tim 1:5 i have unfrigned faith, 6:11 i will be an example of the faith , 6:12 – i fought the good fight of faith

 

2 Tim 4:7 i keep the faith

The communication of my faith is effectual

 

Hebrews 12:2 – i look to Jesus who is the author and finisher of my faith
